It's official! We're moving to Reno, Nevada at the end of December. Phil just accepted a job at the JCPenney Logistics Center there. He will be a logistics manager where he will be assigned to a department and head up a team of 10-40 employees. The logistic center handles all the catalog and Internet orders so his hours are Mon-Friday and no weekends/holidays which is a plus. We are both really excited to be moving to Reno and are in the process of looking for apartments. We are going to rent for at least 6 months and then see about buying a home. I just can't believe that after 5 years of going to school that we finally are done! Phil is already talking about how close we will be to Lake Tahoe and how he'd like to take up skiing. We'll see. In the meantime, I'm trying to keep Phil focused on actually finishing school. It's pretty difficult to focus when you already have a job.

Wow! Congrats you guys! I can't believe it! That will make a few good friends of ours in the Reno, Nevada area! This is great! I love it when our friends congregate to one area so we have a chance to visit! We miss you guys and we are excited for your new opportunities! How exciting...on to the next phase of life!

How exciting!!! Reno is a pretty cool city. Good LDS support/population and pretty nice/affordable housing. PLUS its on our way to visit my dad- so guess who'll be stopping in to see you. It's not too terribly far away from Utah either. and Tahoe is GORGEOUS. Congratulations!
Congratulations! That is really exciting and what a big step in your lives. Way to go. Let us know if you make it out to Utahr (that's how the hill bilies say it) sometime.
I'm so excited for you all! It's a pretty big step but it will be worth it i'm sure. I wish you all the best with the move. Ben and I are trying to move to New Zealand for a year or two. We're just waiting to hear back from the NZ authorities to see if they'll let us teach or not, so watch this space!
