Kaylin was saying a prayer tonight before bedtime. It went something like this:
Heavenly Father,
Thank you this day
Please help me to stay in my bed and get a sticker
Help us to go to sleep
Help me to be good and get a present
Santa Claus is coming to town (she was almost singing this)
Name of Jesus Christ, AMEN
Zachary was in the bath the other day and suddenly looked up and was pointing at the wall. He said "Jez" and I realized that he was pointing at the picture of Jesus and the butterflies that we have hanging up in the bathroom. He pointed and looked at it for a good couple of minutes. I just got the feeling, like I've had on other occasions, that these children know who Jesus is. They recognize him. Whenever we have gone out in the foyer at church, they love to look at the picture of Jesus. Isn't it great that our kids know who He is!

the part about staying in bed sounds just like cameron's prayers! he gets three stickers if he stays in bed... in the 2 weeks we've been doing it, he has yet to get any! let me know when you find out the secret to having them stay in bed all night, and to keep them from crawling into bed without making any noise so you don't even know they're next to you!
Those are some sweet, tender moments! Children are definetly a great blessing! Wanted to let you guys know that we had such a good time seeing you guys during the Thanksgiving break. I am sad because I forgot to take pictures of the occasion! I hope your holiday season is going well!
