The Elder's Quorum apparently is jealous of the Relief Society, so they have come up with their own "Homemaking/Enrichment/RS meetings." They are called Man-Making or Man-Building activities and are centered around making better men? Who knows. I think it's just an excuse to get the boys together. Regardless of the reason, Phil somehow got put in charge of organizing these meetings. This week we had "Steak night." I guess the activity was meant to teach others how to make a great steak, but I think what it ended up being was a BBQ without the women. The guys seemed to have fun chillin' on our deck and looking out at our amazing view of dirt and weeds...oh and dead trees (side note: to take out those dead trees will cost us $2700. I think that we will have to just enjoy the dead trees for a few more years). So the funny thing about this event is that the only food was meat, chips and soda. Sounds like it was put together by a guy eh? No dessert.

Why not?! Ha ha!! That's a fantastic idea which I think should go church-wide!! If only Phil could cook the steaks for everyone! Those look great!
