Phil's work accident

Last week Phil was at work doing a floor (he works for his dad doing hardwood flooring) and cut his ring finger with a tablesaw. Apparently he was cutting a piece of wood when his glove caught the tablesaw and pulled his finger in. He quickly pulled it out, thus preventing it from chopping off his finger and others. He ended up getting 11 stiches and luckily it didn't do any nerve damage and did not hit the bone. Although he's in a lot of pain, he is so grateful to still have his finger and knows that it could have been worse! The thing that is hard is the fact that he started school this week (last semester at Chico state) and he can't really write. I told him that he better befriend someone in each class so that he can copy their notes.

Ouch!!! I'm glad you still have your finger though! Good luck with school -- Becca always has the best advice. :)

Phil...didn't anyone ever tell you that it's dangerous to stick your finger in a table saw? You could lose a finger or something! Ha ha! No really that stinks! I hope your hand heals quickly!
