Here are some little Kaylin-isms that she's been saying/doing lately. I'm recording them for posterity...
1. "Mama, I have cookie? Is that good deal?" (with the thumbs up) Everytime she asks for something, it is always followed up with "that's good deal, momma?" To which I usually reply, "Um, no good deal."
2. When she asked for something and I say "no," she'll come back and say..."say yes mom, say yes"
3. Bedtime has been a little frustrating lately. Here is a typical scenario...
We put her to bed, sit in the chair next to her and hold her hand for a few minutes. Then we "sit sit outside" for a couple more minutes (this is where I get a chance to read my scriptures). Then this is what happens...Kaylin get's out of bed.
Mom: "Kaylin, why did you get out of bed?"
Kaylin: "Because I got out of bed"
Mom: "You need to go back to bed now"
Kaylin: "No, maybe not"
Mom: "Yes, go back to bed"
Kaylin: "momma bed?"
Mom: "no, kaylin bed"
Kaylin "momma bed...(whine whine)
Mom: "get back into Kaylin bed"
Kaylin: Momma, sit sit outside two mintues (with her fingers making the peace sign)
Mom: "ok, get in bed"
Lately, she hasn't been getting out of bed, but it got pretty ridiculous for a while. Just goes to show that you can't reason with a two year old or else you get the answer "Maybe not"
4. She says that she has a secret and then comes and whispers "I love you" in my ear.
5. She loves to sing the "veggie tales theme song." It's hillarious.

i love that she says, "is that good deal?" cam says the SAME THING! he always says, "mom. is that a good deal?" i'm always saying the same to him. kaylin is so cute!
Very cute!! I love listening to what toddlers come up with to say! It's halarious! What a ham that little Kaylin!
Ok Bec, you need to watch Super Nanny more often. The first time they get out, you say "bedtime darling" and put her back in bed. Then the second time, you again say, "bedtime darling" and put her back in. Then the third time, you just put them in bed without a word...and keep doing that until she stays in bed. Because then she knows that you are the boss and you won't budge! What do I know.... just tryign to help :)
