Jared turned one on the 29th. I made a sort of pathetic looking dirt cake with gummy worms that Zachary kept picking off the cake. It seemed like Jared liked his cake though so I'm happy. Our little boy is growing up SO fast. He is crawling all around now (he started crawling about 10 1/2 months) and can also pull himself up to stand. Still no walking or solo standing, but I'm really ok with that. He is a really chill little boy. He loves to watch his brother and sister act like monkeys. He loves eating and is even getting better at drinking regular milk. I have finally given up (yesterday) nursing him during the day so slowly but surely I'm weaning him. I'm not in such a rush since nursing him is the only time I have to think and meditate.

LOVE the cake!! I mean, maybe your friend, Amanda, might do a slightly better job, but hey, it's a mother's duty to "attempt" to be a cake decorator :)
