Thanksgiving preparation

Kaylin started out the Thanksgiving season by coming home from church with a turkey headband and all the feathers say what she is greatful for. She decided to put it on the rocking horse along with other accessories (do you see the cell phone pouch...very essential!)
My sister Heather, her husband Jay and daughter Lauren drove here for Thanksgiving. It was really fun to have them come visit and really fun to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Here we are sporting our new aprons that Fofa (my mom) sewed for us. They were super cute!
Cooking in the kitchen. Our menu included turkey, cranberry relish, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade rolls, homemade pao de quiejo (brazilian cheese rolls), corn, waldorf salad, pumpkin pie, apple pie, and caramel apple pie.
Phil and Jay cutting and eating the turkey.
